Inspired by my wife’s love for mezcal and house plants, I wanted to create a large piece that would be relevant in any home. Maguey, otherwise known as Agave, is the plant responsible for the best spirits out there - Tequila and Mezcal. Did you know the Aztec Warriors used to extract the sap to make make Pulque, an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented sap of the maguey (agave) plant? There's something very zen about plants in your home and this oversized succulent is no exception. Best part is no watering required.
